Authentic and luxurious Thai Spa in Benidorm
I would like to share my opinion on this blog about the different spas I’ve been visiting. To begin with a positive review I will choose one of the spas that I liked most, the Thai Spa Asia Gardens Hotel.
First let’s start with the hotel, a 5 star Asian style Hotel, belonging to the spanish chain Barceló. The room was comfortable and well equipped, the various outdoor pools some heated, lush gardens and the atmosphere of the hotel itself make you feel directly transported to Asia, despite you really are in Benidorm, Alicant
To be sure you have availability for the treatment, it is advisable to book in advance, specially if you go during the weekend. Then you only need to put on your bathrobe, you will find it the closet, and go to the spa ready to be pampered.
Circuit spa
This is not a circuit itself, as there is no dynamic pool with different jets. Instead you can enjoy the pleasant relaxation pool. The best it communicates with the outdoor pool also heated, and you can enjoy there the great views of the gardens.
There is also a steam room, sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. If you go during the winter you have to run not to freeze. The entire installation it’s clean, quiet and with a decor and atmosphere according to the rest of the hotel.
Now to the best part, the treatment.
The menu is brief but adequate. You can choose between different types of
Thai massage Ayurvedic, Balinese … one body treatment and one facial. In addition there are a number of packages that combine these treatments, and others packages with also yoga sessions.
I chose a Balinese massage with hot oil for me and my partner.
We started to feel the authenticity, a Thai lady bring us into a seat , where she made us a tipical Thai’s footbath ritual.
From there we went to the treatmentroom, a double room with a private bath overlooking a small asiatic garden.
The massage was super nice, firm pressure and very relaxing.
The cost of treatment is high, at least 100 €, but totally worth it, especially if you consider that along with treatment, you can go to the spa for 60 min at no additional charge.
